Holiday Magic Comes Alive at Tesoro Viejo
It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
The holiday season has arrived at Tesoro Viejo with all of its wonder and excitement.
As you drive into the community, you are met with holiday lights on the Tesoro Viejo barn and water tower, announcing that the magic of the holidays is here. Holiday lights abound in Town Center with trees brightly lit and the streetlamps wrapped in lighted garland and red bows.
Santa’s sleigh at the event lawn in Town Center is the perfect place for a holiday selfie. And don’t forget to have your kids drop off their letter to Santa in the large holiday mailbox at the Welcome Center, where their letter will be sent directly to the North Pole!
“The holidays at Tesoro Viejo are always festive, but this year we have added a little extra magic,” says Ash Knowlton, vice president of construction Tesoro Viejo.
The extra magic includes the brand-new animated Santa in his sleigh with four animated reindeers taking flight perched on the rooftop of the Hub in Town Center. With his animated waving hand, the lighted Santa and his reindeer are sure to bring smiles of excitement. Hoisting Santa and his reindeers was no small feat – it took a forklift and a team of elves to install this festive sight.
The 30-foot Christmas tree at the event lawn in Town Center still takes center stage during the holidays at Tesoro Viejo. The lighting of the beautiful tree is celebrated each holiday season with a tree lighting ceremony complete with Santa and Mrs. Claus and neighborhood children to cheer on the official start to the holidays.
Residents at Tesoro Viejo get into the holiday spirit with fun activities like the Ugly Sweater Christmas Party at the clubhouse, cookie decorating workshop, and the holiday home decorating contest. All activities follow local and CDC public health guidelines.
During this special time of the year, you will see guests take in the lights of Town Center and the Christmas tree while enjoying seasonal treats to go from AXIS Coffee Bar & Eatery like peppermint bark, holiday cookies, and hot cocoa.
