Meet Tesoro Viejo’s First Homebuilders

First steps. First words. There’s something special about the ‘first’ of anything. And the same is true for Tesoro Viejo’s inaugural homebuilders, a group of respected national and local builders who will bring to life the first five neighborhoods in Hillside Village at Tesoro Viejo. The group includes D.R. Horton, K. Hovnanian® Homes, and McCaffrey Homes.

D.R. Horton will build The Bluffs at Hillside Village, a neighborhood designed specifically for Tesoro Viejo and offering unique one- and two-story homes created with families in mind. “The vision of providing not only a quality built, family-friendly home, but truly an entire community experience, is very exciting,” said Joey Gendron, Vice President of Sales for the national homebuilder, the largest in the U.S. “Our entire team is looking forward to bringing our best to this project.” The Bluffs models are expected to open in February 2019.

K. Hovnanian® Homes will bring their Vista Bella collection to Hillside Village, with a variety of architectural styles to choose from based on historical styles reminiscent of the region’s agricultural roots, including Mission, Craftsman, Modern Farmhouse, and Contemporary Rustic. A national builder, K. Hovnanian®, is also known for their award-winning quality standards. “We are very fortunate to be part of this unique and exciting new community,” said Mike Wyatt, K. Hovnanian® Homes Division President. Vista Bella models are expected to open in Spring 2019.

And finally, McCaffrey Homes has created Altura, designed exclusively for Tesoro Viejo, with model homes currently open and available for touring. The local family-run home builder for three generations, has deep roots in the Central Valley, will also be offering two more neighborhoods at Hillside Village, Ivy and Oaks. The Ivy model center is available for viewing at Riverstone and the Oaks model home Grand Opening is planned for February 2019. “Tesoro Viejo is a special place and we are pleased to be part of it,” said Ash Knowlton, President of Construction for McCaffrey Homes. “We are excited to bring to the residents of Tesoro Viejo innovative designs that will meet their needs.”

In total, Hillside Village, which celebrated its Grand Opening in October, will offer up to 800 homes with diverse housing options to fit a wide range of lifestyles and needs. The Village will also boast a resort-style clubhouse, an amphitheater for live music and events, neighborhood parks, and a nearly three-mile trail system that will surround the Village and lead to Town Center.
