Tesoro Viejo Expands Its Outdoor Amenities

Tesoro Viejo is designed to offer its residents an exceptional living experience with ample green spaces and parks, all just steps from home! The thriving community located in the serene landscape of Madera, California is built upon having plenty of outdoor amenities to play and explore, and we are excited to share our latest parks and recreational amenities coming soon to The Plaza and Creekside Village.

Coming later this year is Rosie’s Greenway, a greenspace bordering both sides of Rosie’s Place, our dedicated community dog park. Stroll through a tree-lined path with the gentle sway of swing benches alongside open lawn areas featuring picnic tables with ample space for picnics, or simply basking in the sun to unwind. For those seeking more active pursuits, a mini field for soccer is around the corner where kids can run and play. After a playful session, relax on the adjacent open lawn, perfect for a game of catch or a leisurely picnic.

Construction will be ongoing for a series of neighborhood pocket parks to be built within The Plaza and Creekside Village. These charming green spaces will offer a variety of whimsical play structures to meandering walkways, open lawn play areas, and comfortable picnic tables. These parks are sure to become cherished gathering spots for neighbors to connect, children to play in, and everyone to enjoy outdoor fun close to home. The first park to make its debut will be Sycamore Park situated within The Boulevard neighborhood, projected to be completed later this fall. 

Get ready to serve up some fun at Creekside Courts! Slated for late 2025, this exciting new amenity is a pickleball enthusiast's dream come true. Enjoy a friendly match with neighbors and friends surrounded by a relaxing atmosphere. Creekside Courts will be surrounded by a stately tree grove as a landscape buffer and feature two pickleball courts, picnic tables, and an open lawn area. Start gathering your teams and get ready to play!

Coming in 2026, Creekside Grove Park will be the centerpiece park within Creekside Village. Surrounded by a lush tree grove, the park will feature a stone fireplace and barbecue area, perfect for outdoor dining. An open-air structure will offer a versatile space for events and gatherings, while comfortable seating allows residents to enjoy the ambiance. With its stunning signature – fountain or specimen tree – and ample green space, Creekside Grove Park will become a beloved destination for everyone.
