Q: How long have you lived at Tesoro Viejo, and why did you choose this community?

A: My family and I have lived in Tesoro Viejo for four years. When we first drove into the community, we immediately fell in love with the sense of tranquility and warmth it offered. Tesoro Viejo is wonderfully quiet, calm, and inviting.

Q: Describe what it is like to live, work and play at Tesoro Viejo. 

A: Spending most of my time here has been incredibly smooth and enjoyable. I drop my kids off at Hillside Elementary and am at work just 2 minutes later. After work, I pick them up and we're home within minutes. They absolutely love their school and having friends in the neighborhood. Plus, my husband occasionally picks up shifts at the fire station right here in Tesoro Viejo, so we can easily swing by and drop off dinner for him and say a quick hello.   

Q: Choose one word to describe the vibe in your neighborhood. 

A: Inviting.

Q: How do you “play” at Tesoro Viejo? 

A: We love relaxing by the pool or riding our bikes on the trails. Walking our dogs to Rosie’s Place and letting them run free is always a highlight.  We also enjoy the Live on the Lawn events and the great Farmer’s Market at The Hub.  

Q: What's your favorite amenity in the community, and why? 

A:We adore The Ranch House Clubhouse. Since our smaller lot doesn't have room for a pool, having access to an incredible pool during the hot summer months has been fantastic. Plus, my kids love that there are almost always other kids around to play with! 

Q: If you had to describe the overall atmosphere of the community in just three words, what would they be? 

A: Charming, vibrant, scenic 

Q: What were a few exciting things you did this summer? 

A: Summer is a busy season for my husband, James, but we managed to take a wonderful trip to Mammoth Lakes. We enjoyed fishing, hiking, and observing the wildlife. 

 

Q: Give us one fun fact about your life right now! 

A: We just purchased our second McCaffrey Home in Tesoro Viejo!
