In October 2019, the roads and trails at Tesoro Viejo hosted the American Heart Association’s annual Heart and Stroke Walk/5K Run for the fourth year running. Since the event has been hosted at Tesoro Viejo, it has raised over $1.2 million to support lifesaving research and education to fight heart disease and stroke. Attended by thousands, this year’s event raised more than $337,000 for research and education.
